The Art of Tsubasa
CLAMP definitely shows their versatility with art styles in this manga. Consider the Li Syaoran of Card Captor Sakura and the Syaoran of Tsubasa. Differences? Definitely, and it's not only the differences of age.
The art of Tsubasa is defined by:
::Dark, thick, and broad strokes
::Completely black and white sketches, with mostly no shading or in-between grays
::Black eyes with a single white spot
::Excessive sharpness and many angles; not much roundness
::Minimal detail in clothing (as opposed to the many costumes of CCS)
::A few scattered chibi (super deformed) moments
The art of Tsubasa is actually very similar to another CLAMP series called "Angelic Layer". Apparently, each CLAMP artist has her own style and that is why there are so many different variations of art among the many CLAMP series.
