Chapitre. 15: The Secret Country
The figure turns out to be a young girl named Chun Hyang, who promptly scolds the man, calling him a "stupid little boy". The man grows furious, explaining that he is the son of the Ryanban (master of Koryo country). Chun Hyang continues to insult the man and his father. Syaoran asks Sakura if she is all right, and she thanks him in return. Two women in the town lament over the mess in the market, and one expresses her wishes that the Amenosa would appear. Chun Hyang takes notice of Syaoran and greets him with, "Those are weird clothes!" Suddenly, she comes to a realization, grabs Sakura, and starts to run. Of course, the other three start running after her.
Situated in Chun Hyang's house, Chun Hyang asks if they have something to say. When Syaoran clearly looks confused, she sighs, saying that children couldn't possibly be the Amenosa. She explains that the Amenosa is a small group of government agents that travel the country and right the wrongs of oppressive ryanban. The four introduce themselves to Chun Hyang. Then, Fye reasons that the ryanban must be a bad man if she wanted the Amenosa to come along. Chun Hyang says that he took away her mother. Suddenly a supernatural wind rips the roof off of her house. Chun Hyang is enraged, yelling at the ryanban for his actions.
"Father! Aboji! You did it!" the ryanban's son says to the ryanban. The ryanban says that now they know of his power. His son expresses worries that the four foreigners might be the amenosa, but the ryanban is unaffected, claiming that as long as he had "this", no one could oppose him. "This" was a feather.
