Chapitre. 25: The Fairy Tale Country
Sitting in a bar in the new world, the group realizes that it is being stared at because of the foreign clothing. Syaoran expresses monetary concerns for the new world. Sakura is playing a card game with the men in the bar, and no matter what, she always wins, despite an unclear understanding of the rules. Any accusations of cheating are quickly put out due to Kurogane's lethal glance. Her winnings earn the group enough money to continue.
A waiter, after told that the group is traveling, advises them not to go north because there is a northern town with a horrible legend. The legend says that over three hundred years ago there was once a beautiful, golden-haired princess that obtained a feather from the beak of a bird. The bird said that the feather held a strange and mysterious power. After that, the king and queen died, and children from the town started disappearing. The waiter says that children from the town have started disappearing again.
Clad in the country of Jade's clothing, the group sets out on horse, traveling through snowy woods. They chat about their home countries. Sakura lived in a desert country, Kurogane was from a country with four seasons, Fai came from the cold North, and Syaoran had been to many countries. The group arrives in a town called Spirit. Frightened residents look through their windows.
