Later

He didn't know why. It was just a fact. That he hated her, that was.

Kurogane stood towards the back of the room as she and his traveling companions chatted away, almost as if they had come to this world for that very purpose. Even though in reality, it was an accident that they'd even met her.

They had just come to the new world, were just having a look around when a girl none of them had ever met, or so he had thought, suddenly ran up and tugged on the damn wizard's sleeve.

He'd blinked, the princess blinked, and the brat blinked. Fai smiled before wrapping his arms around her and letting out the word, "Chi."

He'd been annoyed then, certainly only because she was distracting them from their searching for the princess's feather. It had nothing to do with the fact that she was undeniably adorable, and wrapped all over the wizard. Of course not.

But it seemed the wizard knew her in his world, and in this one, she'd believed he was her older brother. Go figure. So, they'd all gone to what appeared to be Fai's home in this world (with the little girl, of course).

Kurogane almost felt veins popping as he looked around at all the walls. Every damn picture had the wizard and the little girl slung all over him. What kind of relationships did brothers and sisters have in this world, anyway?

Over the whole day, he was grumpy. He couldn't figure out why he didn't like her. She seemed to be perfect, almost in every way.

She was cute, kind, sweet... It was as if someone created her to be absolutely perfect. It all pissed him off to no seen end.

Sighing, he continued to watch them, deciding to be content with the thought, "I hate her. I'll think of a reason later."
