Relationships between Characters
Sakura x Syaoran
Syaoran loves Sakura passionately but does not admit it to her. The fact that he is commoner and she is a princess discourages him, as he believes that the two of them can never be. Too much separates them, he thinks. Sakura also loves Syaoran and was almost able to tell him of her love for him before interrupted by the castle bell. The next day, she went to the ruins attempting to tell him she loved him. Who knew that in seconds her memories could be stolen away?
Sakura x Touya
Little sister and older brother. Princess and King. Touya teases Sakura but is extremely overprotective of her. He does not enjoy the fact that she is always wanting to be in the company of Syaoran. However, he reluctantly accepts the fact that they are destined for each other. They have a loving relationship despite their differences. Their sibling rivalry is only a representation of their love for each other. But, of course, they would deny that.
Sakura x Yukito
Sakura does not seem to have a crush on Yukito as she did in Card Captor Sakura, but she still looks to him when Touya is making fun of her. She is also very happy every time she sees him and gets excited to say things, preferably teasing things about her brother. Yukito sees her as "cute" and helps her when Touya teases her. He used up a massive amount of power to transport her, and Syaoran, to Yuuko. According to Fye, it must have taken all that he had.
Touya x Yukito
More than just a King and his High Priest? Perhaps. Apparently, they are "just old friends". Touya insists that they do not use the honorifics (like -san) and that they call each other by name. In Japan, this is a BIG thing. This shows that they are very close and have an intimate relationship. This relationship is a favorite (especially after Cardcaptor Sakura) among fans, however it is unclear whether their relationship has "more than friends" implications.
Syaoran x Touya
Touya refers to Syaoran as "that hole-digging twerp". Need I explain more? Touya hates it when Sakura hangs out with Syaoran. He rang the castle bell marking Sakura's time to go home knowing that Sakura was with Syaoran. It upsets Touya even more that Syaoran is destined for Sakura, according to Yukito's predictions. It is unclear why Touya does not like Syaoran. Explanations include 1) He is a commoner, 2) He spends too much time with Sakura.
Syaoran x Syaoran's Father
It seems that they had a loving father-son relationship. Syaoran misses his father and definitely delves into archaeology in memory of him, whether it be just a small or big part of his reasons. He talks to his father by talking to his photograph, giving him news about the archaeological digs. Fujitaka found him alone in the streets when he was a little boy and adopted him as his own. Even though he was not Syaoran's biological father, they loved each other dearly.
Kurogane x Tomoyo
Kurogane and Tomoyo have an odd sort of relationship, most likely due to their individual, quirky personalities. Kurogane does not follow Tomoyo's orders about avoiding unnecessary death, and gives her an attitude when reminded of it. Tomoyo seems to have much fun when cursing him so that each death he causes will lessen his strength, and also laughs when sending Kurogane off to see Yuuko. Yet, Kurogane is blatantly loyal to his princess Tomoyo. This is also shown in chapter 7 in which he claims he has joined no one's team; he only works for his one and only princess Tomoyo.
